Properties of Limits

If lim⁡x→cf(x)\displaystyle\lim_{x \to c} f(x) and lim⁡x→cg(x)\displaystyle\lim_{x \to c} g(x) both exist, the limit of a sum, product, or quotient is the sum, product, or quotient of the limits. For a quotient, lim⁡x→cg(x)\displaystyle\lim_{x \to c} g(x) must not be 00.
